Wow, now it’s time to really get deeper into electronics and use our first IC in a circuit. IC stands for integrated circuit and the one we’ll be using is a legend in the electronics community. We are going to use a 555 timer to build an LED flasher!

  1. That depends on the circuit, if there’s a path for the charge that stored in the capacitor to discharge, then it will. If there isn’t a path then the capacitor will hold the charge for some time (weeks or months). This is why
    it’s important to always treat a capacitor as if it’s charged.
