Let’s make some noise! In this experiment we’ll use two NAND gates to create a simple oscillator and tie that into the speaker and we’ll see how easy it is to make a tone generator using just a few parts.

  1. No, transformers only work with AC current. And this is because we are using the collapsing magnetic field to actually transfer current from one side (Primary Winding) of the transformer to the other side (Secondary
    Winding).
