Drop Rocket with Launcher

You get to not only build as many rockets as you want, but also the launcher to go with it! Although the launcher takes about 20 minutes to assemble, it will serve you for thousands of rocket launches, and doesn’t require an air compressor or even a bike pump! You’re going to make your own single-piston air pump using everyday hardware store parts. You can opt to include the protractor if you want to be more precise in your measurements. You can use this experiment in more advanced projects, like science fairs. See tips below for more information.

  1. It all depends on the launch angle! Give it a try and report your results 🙂

How far does this rocket fly

You can find tubing at a hardware store like Miner’s Ace or True Value… not Home Depot or Lowe’s or Orchard Supply. You need a real hardware store, not a “home improvement” store.

I’ve also found it at craft stores like Beverly’s in the model/wood section.

I can’t find the 3/16 inch brass tubing to complete this project. Please advice.
