Make sure that you fold the tabs of paper and that they are all folded the same direction. Also, try throwing it with your other hand to see if that makes a difference.

I folded it both ways and it did not work why is this

So it bends more easily (without folding) into a loop.
Mine didn’t work at all.
Why do you have to curve after folding it an inch three times?
