It comes tightly glued into a blue plastic case, and it is impossible (at least for me) to get it out of the case without breaking the switch. So we have been unable to do the experiment with the magnetic drawer sensor, which is the one that most interested my son. Just wanted you to know so you can look for a different part number to put onto your shopping list to keep others from buying the wrong part in the future.
