Oh, right – that makes more sense. Yes, that lesson is a great one to start with. Currently, I am working on a HUGE set of math videos to be added, so tackle the ones here now (there aren’t that many), and then you’ll be ready for the big set when it’s released.

Hi again, Aurora,

I think I wasn’t clear in my last question.
Specifically, we want to learn how to begin to do the mental mathemagic stuff. At the bottom of your description of mental mathemagic is a link that says “first lesson” if you want to get started. When I click on that link, it just takes me to “how to multiply 2 digit numbers by 11.” Is that where the link is suppose to go?

You can start anywhere you want to on this site by selecting an area of interest here: http://www.sciencelearningspace.com/study-units/ There’s no particular order, but if you’re new to the site, you’ll also want to watch the intro video here so it makes more sense how to get the most out of the 900+ experiments on this website. I saw a live lecture by him. He’s amazing! I learned so much from him. He made a dvd course for people. They, as well, are amazing.

You’re right – he sure did! He wrote about how he came to love numbers while riding on the bus as a child in his book. I highly recommend his math course (look under math recommendations).
